Wow, what a year it’s been! Though I had to slow my content creation somewhat for DrJarodCarter.com in order to focus on my physical therapy clinic in Austin, it turns out it was time really well spent … In the past year, I have hired 3 full-time employees to help me in the clinic. The most recent full-time hire was actually a virtual assistant who I’m in the process of training so I will have the ability to create a ton of content to market my practice without it taking a ton of my time to do so. I am currently looking for a 2nd staff physical therapist, and I will soon be bringing on a part-time massage therapist as well. Exciting stuff!
I just did my first Facebook Live videos on both my Carter Physiotherapy FB page and my DrJarodCarter FB page. Click the video below to watch “My 2016 Recap and Primary Focus for 2017” video to get more details on how my year went and what you can expect to see from me moving forward. (Note: I didn’t know I was supposed to disable calls to my phone during the filming, so of course one came in right at the very end of the video. You live, you learn! It’s all good though—I just lost the last few seconds.)
If you’d like to keep up with what I’m doing with regard to video and social media marketing for my clinic, click here to visit and follow our Facebook page.
And if you’d like to learn exactly how you can start and build your own cash-based practice, be sure to check out the book I wrote detailing exactly how I did it.

Hi Jarod Really glad to see you getting back to us. Yourself and Arron are the 2 people I trust the most. I closed my Ins based practice at the end of October in LA and myself and I decided to buy a B and B in Hawaii. If you ever want to ride the waves our here, you have a huge fan of yours here. Kailua Beach is a 5 – 10 walk from us, some of our old PT Bus Web site pictures are also of it. Our b and b is paradisepalmsbandb.com. Anyway between all the work of closing an office, moving here and learning the b and b business we have been so overwhelmed. I am hoping to get things settled down enough to get back to trying to start a, solo no overhead cash pay only business for PT and Wellness. Luckily HI’s practice act is Very Strong, no Rx’s needed and no time or # visits limits, but tons of competition. I have never seen so many yoga and massage services in one area in my life. But feel these are opportunities to help me get contacts and grow. Also for now also still totally burned out on PT, all the endless rules and regs. Glad to see your success, it is inspiring and motivating. Best Wishes
Thanks for the kind words and the B&B offer … I may have to take you up on that! Good for you on taking the bull by the horns and changing your life in the direction you want. Inspiring!
