My name is Eric, and i’ve recently heard your podcast. I’m also a treating physical therapist in New York and want to go the out-of-network route. Karen I was wondering when you first started and was doing part-time work at an outpatient facility, was the outpatient facility you were working at an out-of-network practice as well? One of my colleagues told me if you want to go out-of-network in New York you need to completely go out-of-network and can’t be offering in-network services. By any chance do you know the laws or regulations in New York regards to offering out of network service while still offering in-network services at other locations? Or would you know who I can contact to find out further information. Thank you for your help.
